Happy my @$$. Thus far, Disney has been miserable and we're not even there yet. I remember Disney. It was fun, but I had just as much fun at Cedar Point, which is only a hour from here. Epcot Center was by far my favorite place, but Sunshine would be bored to tears and for the amount of money it costs to get in, why take a child who isn't going to have fun?
So I resigned. I refused to talk about and plan the trip. I told Husband if he wanted to go, he needed to plan it all because I was done. Know what? He decided it wasn't worth it either. Our kids will not see Mickey this year. They may never get to see Mickey unless we win the flippin' lottery or start making more money than a starting teacher salary (oh, wait, they make more than us...). When the kids get older, they can discuss the impact of not seeing Mickey with their therapists. At least Mommy won't have to drink now to numb the pain the "Happiest Place on Earth" was causing.
