This past weekend when we had our final Christmas celebration, one of the gifts we made were bird feeders. This was so much fun. It was completely messy, but great! I got the idea off of Family Fun (I pinned it later), but modified it. We used cookie cutters and embroidery floss. Since I didn't actually read the instructions before hand, we had a bit of a time crunch, so I stuck them in the freezer and they were done in an hour! One suggestion is that you don't use shapes with small parts. We made a crab, but the legs broke off when popping it out of the cookie cutter.
And, as a side note, if you're anything like me, you are now singing Mary Poppins songs because of the title of this post.
