It's not that we didn't have things to do all week, because we did. It was more the types of things we had to do. Monster had a two day Robotics Camp. It was amazing. He had such a great time! I can not even begin to express how grateful I am that we have found this particular group in which he feels so comfortable. While the boy was at robotics all day, Sunshine and I headed to visit the Harry London Chocolate Factory with Girl Scouts on Monday. The tour was pretty interesting. I was definitely the only person there who isn't a chocolate fan! After the tour, the girl and I stayed in the area and had lunch. It was a fun break for just the two of us. It hasn't been like that since she was in Kindergarten! While Monster was at robotics on Tuesday, Sunshine got to have her friend over. I always love having H over. She and Sunshine always have such an amazing time and there's never any drama! I guess that's how it goes when you've known someone literally your whole life! On Tuesday evening, after Robotics Camp, Monster had his last coding class. Like camp, I can't begin to express how happy it makes me that he has found a group where he belongs. The coding class is sponsored by our local library and has an amazing teacher for it. I'll get into how much we love our library a little later since that plays a three day roll in our Spring Break!
After Tuesday, we really didn't have much to do for Spring Break. It was very low key. The kids played. I worked on the the library levy. Kids slept in until after 9 every day, which was fantastic! I love letting my kids sleep! Husband took Friday off, so we played some indoor mini golf and then went to Dave and Busters for some arcade fun! Saturday, we went to go see James and Giant Peach (play) and did more levy stuff. Sunday was both crazy and relaxing. It was the big push day for the levy, so after all that was taken care of, we just played outside the rest of the day!
Overall, it was an amazing Spring Break. We definitely needed the recharge.
