I am a mother, a wife, a daughter. I am a dreamer, a worrier, an organizer. I kiss boo boos better. I wipe away tears. I feed bellies. I clean up messes. I love my husband. I love my children. I can't imagine anything better than raising my family. I am a former teacher. I married my best friend and college sweetheart. I love my job. My family means everything to me. I'm passionate about many things, too many things. I love to read, but find I rarely have time. I love photography, yet find myself rarely with a camera. I'm a crazy organizing freak, yet often I'm completely disorganized. I clean green and try to live a green lifestyle. I get through my day with coffee. I'm currently undergoing therapy for my back and neck, which takes more time than I like to give.
Husband is my best friend. He's a great husband and an even better father. We are truly partners. He is one of the few husbands around that understands what I do all day is work and not just fun and games. Together, we have made many sacrifices so that I can stay home to raise our family. Husband is a computer dork. He hates traveling, but, right now, doesn't seem to have a choice. He craves knowledge, of all sorts. He's the smartest person I know. He can solve pretty much any problem. He's my rock.
Monster is our incredible son. He is just like his father, in many ways. He craves knowledge, of any sort. He's logical beyond his years. He loves anything he can learn about and explore. He has an incredible imagination and a huge heart. He is more empathetic than a lot of adults I know. He is always thinking of others who don't have as much as he does and wants to help them. He is concerned for the environment and helps us to live a green life.
Her name really says it all. She is life. She is the happiest child I know. She embraces every moment with all she has. She is a force of nature. She knows what she wants and will not back down until she gets it. Her brother is her hero. She is a complete girly tomboy. She will dig in the dirt while wearing a frilly dress. She insists on having her nails polished, but forget about doing her hair. She is the balance to her brother's serious nature with her care free attitude.
Puppy is a German Shepard/Basenji mix. He's completely neurotic, but fits into our family perfectly! He enjoys running on the treadmill, which is good because someone needs to use it. He loves playing catch. He despises the mailman and cats. He's finally getting out of his puppy stage...it only took 10 years.
Girl is the newest member of our family. She chose to be part of our family May 7, 2017. She is a boxer mix. We just found her birthday a few days ago, and found out she's 2. She is such a happy girl. She is obsessed with her ball, or any ball she happens to see. She spends her evenings snuggling. If you don't snuggle, she will force you to pet her by hitting your hands, arms, or legs, with her head.
