To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of technology. That being said, I am grateful for it because it helps me stay connected with friends across the country. I can quickly grab my phone and text anyone in the country at any time (though I'm pretty sure my friends in CA would rather me NOT text them at 6am my time). Technology makes it so that we can get answers faster, as well. I remember when my parents would have to dig out the Encyclopedias to find me an answer to something. Now, I just "OK Google" it. Technology allows me to share what is going on in our lives with family out of state. It used to be that you'd have send hard copy of pictures and out of town relatives wouldn't get to see the kids often. With technology, Grandpa in Illinois and Aunt in Michigan can "see" the kids all the time through the millions of pictures I take. With all that I don't like about technology, there is connection piece that I wouldn't be able to give up.
